I am already a free advertisement for the "Pinoy" Cohen diet, and I emphasize it's the French Dr. Cohen. My friends exclaim at how much weight I had lost (10 lbs actually, my target) which pretty much shows in how my old clothes hang loosely & comfortably on me in a relaxed way. I cannot remember how many times I told them about the Bon Appetit diet, & that it cost me only P2,900 + for 6 months of emailed meal plans, recipes & advice. I admit picking only the recipes I like. I have yet to try the other recipes in the meal plans. I learned about substituting food & resorting to the restoration meal when I had more fat/sugar than usual. I am not picky with food & feel happy & contented even with the same food I enjoy everyday for many days (like my breakfast) or every so often. Now especially I can often eat what our cook prepares for the rest of the household because I have given her tips on low-fat cooking. And lately, I have been joining aerobics classes in our neighborhood.

Hi Marilyn!

WOW. All that you said were truly amazing! Your weight loss results are just the natural effect of following a healthy and balanced diet, but ultimately, maintaining this 'lifestyle' of eating will benefit your health in the long run. You're right when you said, "8s better 2 spend 4 health dan 4 sickness." :)

Way to go, Marilyn!

I've been praying 4 a program dat wld satisfy my desire 2 trim down nd also be healthy coz am hypertensive nd I have bouts of menouposal syndrome w/c s practically affecting my entire system...so often a day I have 2 experience varied degrees of pain nd I tried 2 correct 8 by skipping some fuds I wld crave 2 eat brt 2 no avail. So God heard my prayer..I was browsing n my internt nd fb I saw ds plug jst n a small corner of my fb wall nd I started 2 scan nd read..I was interested 2 learn nd do bt my financial capacity was nt viable bt again God intervened He provided nd so I was n. At 1st day nd days dat followed I was nt dat sure of wht I was entering into bt I jst flowed nd followed 2 da letter every instructions provided nd I readily followed 2 da details nd 2 my surprise I was gradually being led 2 liking 8 w/c at 1st I was n doubt nd hesitant...after my weighing, I truly attest dat ds program s determined 2 help nd hw I wish I cld pursue...da questions nd answers provided really helped me b guided through my journey 2wards progression nd I believe am on da right direction,,w/ God's provisions I pray dat I wl b able 2 sustain until I reach my goal of reducing 50lbs. At ds point allow me 2 thank u Dr. Cohen nd ur staff 4 putting up ds program becoz 8s a big help 2 dos hu seems 2 b desperate 2 becoming trimmed nd healthy once again...readers, I invite u 2 join us n ds endeavor nd ul nt regret..8 might cost u a little bt 8s worth 8..8s better 2 spend 4 health dan 4 sickness.

I've lost a total of 30 lbs (from 130 to 100) throughout the years, and I haven't yo-yoed once. :-q Granted, it was very slow for me. It's gotten to the point when I can totally eat virtually whatever I want when I'm on vacation for a few weeks, and when I go back to my usual eating and exercise habits, I'm back to 100 lbs.

Yes, I said the dreaded E word, exercise. I hate it, I really do. But I've been doing it consistently for nearly six years now. I've already gotten so used to the habit, that when I had to take a break from exercise for two months because of an ankle injury, I found myself absolutely bored. Also, I exercise because I like to eat well. Bon appétit, after all. :-q
