Fruits

by ca2481 (Marikina) Posted on 06/17/2012 11:27 am

Hi!

i love bananas, and i noticed that this week the fruits in my shopping list are more of apples and oranges. Is it ok if replace the apples with bananas? plus bananas are more cheaper. :)

I general, is it ok to replace the fruits in my shopping list with the fruits that i like or available in the supermarket?

thanks! :)

@enables2010: Welcome to B.A.D! Common brand for vegetable juices are V8, Tipco and Malee. You can choose any type as long as it's pure vegetables with no sugar added.

Hi @diparcia! 4 pieces of kiat-kiat is equivalent to 1 piece of ponkan. :)

I'm planning to buy Kiyat Kiyat (small ponkan) instead of the regulan ponkan. I'm just not sure of the equivalent food portion. Like 3 Kiyat Kiyat is equivalent to 1 pc ponkan? I find them much sweeter than ponkan :)

Fruits all I want? @Laarni, no matter how many it is? I am confused now. With your answer @whitechocolate. :-S because I thought we are only allowed to have 5 fruit servings per day, as i have remember 40 calories are in fruits, and choose fruits that has lower sugar content, like choose the geeen mango rather than the ripe one, and oh I love watermelon, but i was informed it is high in sugar than dalandan, so i choose dalandan, i love fruits so i'm sticking to the number of fruits allowed per day..... thanks hope this may clear for me.... :-O :^>

Should I replace pineapple with the apple or ponkan for a particular meal, what is the ideal portion? It says in the bonus section that for pineapple its 1 slice. What does 1 slice mean? Same goes for mangoes (green and ripe). I saw that pomelo is 3 pcs.

I read in my coaching session today that I can eat as many fruits as I want during my meal. Really? Is it not pack with calories too? Grapes and pomelo are commonly served during our meetings. If i consumed them during my meeting does it mean I do not have to remove the fruit servings in my succeeding meals i.e lunch or dinner? Thanks.
