Coke Zero / Pepsi Max - alright to drink?

by AisIceEyes (Manila) Posted on 07/30/2012 1:47 pm

I would like to ask if Coke Zero or Pepsi Max are sodas that are alright to drink since, as the product says, they have zero calories which is relative alternative to water.

The reason I ask this is that I sometimes need caffeine whenever I'm at work. Being always busy and have a hectic schedule makes me lack everyday sleep.

Before the program, to keep me awake, I usually drink brewed coffee but whenever the climate is hot, I tend to drink Coke Zero or Pepsi Max (never really liked Coke Classic or Pepsi Regular when these two was marketed since I'm not fond of sweets).

@christined: Sports drinks like gatorade are okay to drink, only if you are doing high-intensity exercises like circuit training or marathon. For light to moderate exercises like jogging, yoga or aerobics, water is still the best hydrant!

How about gatorade, especially when working out?

@ ascuenca: You can drink unsweetened pineapple juice and fit and right from time to time. 1 fruit serving is equivalent to half a can of pineapple juice (240 ml can) and 1 bottle of fit and right :)

Hi kitchencraft,

A serving of Lumpiang sariwa is about 280 calories. You can have it as a snack, or as a vegetable side dish :-q but note that a serving Polland's lumpiang sariwas is already good enough for 2 people. Have just half of it as a snack or side dish, and the sauce should be just as much as 2 tablespoons.
