@Daytes: Good progress, you're losing weight just as expected. :) You are very much allowed to substitute food items as long as it is the same kind of food and you are minding your portions. Okay for 1 square of dark chocolate to quell sweet cravings. Drink plenty of water and other fluids like green tea to help avoid cravings for salty and sweet foods.

Its been two weeks for me and i'm getting results. I lost 2 lbs per week and i hope to continue to lose more lbs this week. Although i havent strictly followed the menu plan, still it was a great help since i just substitute some recipe/food with more or less the same kind of food. And i'm more conscious of food portions. i usually have cravings for sweets and peanuts. If i cant really help it, i eat one pc dark chocolate (singles not the whole bar). Then, i try to move around or do some exercise while watching TV.

Its been 2 weeks and I feel bad that i still cant follow the menu plan religiously, now Im on my 3rd week, my motivation to follow is low specially when im in the kitchen to cook for my catering business. My cravings for sweet is something i cant break, can i have dark chocolates in times of cravings?

Hi Nanz, patience is really the key. Hang on in there! You didn't reach 148 lbs in two weeks, so to lose it also takes a bit of time and work. :)

@wanabefit: Yes, it's normal for a woman to gain a little bit of weight 1 week before her period because she is likely to retain water. Your real weight will be evident during or after your period.

If your going to have your period ia it normal that you gain weigt? I gain a lb, and i think I am at my period state, I'm beginning to feel weary because of that but still in track for frustration is the best enemy right.....
