Holidays are coming!

"Santa Claus is coming to town..."

Upon writing this message, it's exactly 47 days, 10 hours and 24 minutes before Christmas.

Thoughts like these may already be running through your mind: 13th month pay, bonuses, shopping, gifts, parties, reunions, and FOOOODDD!

Seems too much to handle?

Well, here's one tip: MOVE. Try walking as much as you can. Take advantage of your shopping adventures to walk and shed those fats away. Remember, exercise gives us the "happy hormones" that will somehow help us stay sane during the holiday season.

How about you, what are your tips for staying sane during the holidays? Share it to the community today.

hello...i've just started my diet 2 weeks ago and so far so good....but I guess just like most of us, trying to "psychologize ourself" not to go beyond our limits STILL Christmas season will prevail...and to make myself "SANE" as u put it...a little of everything that fancy my taste buds will stop myself from craving for a more sinful calories/carbohydrates (that means more time for my daily workouts!).....

Right! Christmas is here!

Whenever I feel Christmas, there's one word that could explain what I feel - panic! :))
To keep me sane, I try not to think about it haha! (kidding)

So here's what I "plan" to do to pacify my anxiety:
1- play a soulful Christmas song or sing it (if you can't beat them join them), my favorite is Mariah Carey's rendition of Oh Holy Night

2- take it on a daily basis (prepare a list of things to do before Christmas) including a list of inaanak (godchildren) to buy gifts for

3- share the burden (I mean the excitement and the calories!) with a friend who has the same view of the situation :))

4- psychologize yourself - continually affirm that you are going to make the most out of this once in a year season and remind yourself that it's inevitable, unskippable so might as well enjoy it!

5- let loose and just enjoy (without forgetting your weight loss goals that is) ;)
