Welcome to the Bon Appétit Diet! My name is Charmaine, and I am your Online Dietitian. I'm here, together with the BelleToday Dietiian Team, to help you be successful on your weight loss goals and get you engaged to the community as well.

This forum thread is for everyone starting the program today. It's where you can introduce yourself, meet new friends in the diet, and to support one another in trying times.

To succeed and reach your goals, I want you to follow the steps below. It only takes 5 minutes of your day to make a lifetime improvement for your well-being.

1. Read your session for the day and watch the video of the coach

2. Ask a question to the team of dietitians (click on "Tools" in the left column, and then "Personal Questions")

3. Take the time to refer to your shopping list and meal plans.

Hi @Omai1130! You can still consume your yogurt and maybe have it as your snack. Since yogurt is a dairy, good alternatives for it should be dairy as well. You may have 240 ml nonfat milk, 240 ml calcium-fortified nonfat soy milk, 60 g cottage cheese or 1 slice low fat cheese as dairy substitutes. Also, you may have flavored yogurt provided it is nonfat. ;)

Hi po!

Im starting today april22 but i skip the plain yogart,is it ok if i will not consume yogart on my menu?! Or is there any alternative or it?! Can i have Flavored yogart?

I started my program today, April 22, 2013. You said you'll restart my program but I haven't seen any changes yet. Also, do I really have to consume all that's in the suggested servings? Like, I'm having difficulty consuming the ground pork omelette this dinner time. :^>

Almost done with day 1 but i missed the corn soup. Is it ok? I m having some cravings and felt that im not satiated at dinner :(

Hi! I was supposed to start my program last April 15 but because I am not well adept with the computer, I got lost along the way. I wasn't able to access my meal plan immediately and I needed the help of Kristin (thanks to her) on your landline to guide me to find my meal plan. Now, is it okay that I started on a Wednesday instead of Monday? What I'm doing is adjusting my meal plan i.e. day 1 becomes Wednesday and so on. Is this alright or should I really adhere to Monday as day 1? Please advise. Thanks.
