Welcome to the Bon Appétit Diet! My name is Charmaine, and I am your Online Dietitian. I'm here, together with the BelleToday Dietiian Team, to help you be successful on your weight loss goals and get you engaged to the community as well.

This forum thread is for everyone starting the program on May 13. It's where you can introduce yourself, meet new friends in the diet, and to support one another in trying times.

To succeed and reach your goals, I want you to follow the steps below. It only takes 5 minutes of your day to make a lifetime improvement for your well-being.

1. Read your session for the day and watch the video of the coach

2. Ask a question to the team of dietitians (click on "Tools" in the left column, and then "Personal Questions")

3. Take the time to refer to your shopping list and meal plans.

Regarding calorie levels, please follow what Dr. Cohen recommended for you. Less rice or no rice doesn't always mean it's better! Better yet, consult us through the Personal Questions tool so we can give you expert advice individually.

Hi im starting today. Just wanted to ask what i can use to replace stevia? I find it hard to drink coffee or tea

Hello Joahnna and Kenjie! Today is also the first day of my program. Just had my first meal and it took me a while to finish it. But, i plan to stick to the 1400 cal/day for now.

yah me too..I change it from 1200kcal to 900kcal... lets take the challenge joahnna :-q

I'm planning to change my program from 1400 kcal to 1200 because as practiced about 5 months ago, i was able to reduce my rice to 1/2 cup or sometimes substitute it with vegetable or wheat bread and was able to adjust with it.

Is that okay?
