What do you like to have when it's raining? I'm not really a soup person, so I like hot chocolate. Another recent favorite, a spicy Korean tofu stew called soondubu. :) |

You can try out our member's comments (and Echina's) to make the congee amazing!
1/2 cup of cooked rice = 1 1/2 cup of cooked rice gruel or lugaw (lifted from the List of Food Equivalence under Tools > Bonus)

Mine is the arroz caldo we buy in our village :)
Wow, @echinaalegada, can you post the recipe for that? The pepper flakes sounds like it makes it even better! :) Also, when eating these rice-based dishes, how many cups of cooked white rice does it substitute? :D

When it's raining I cook my special Chicken Congee! I put red pepper flakes to give it a kick. It's perfect for a cold rainy day. :-q

I'm crazy over Ukkokei Ramen Ron's Tantanmen-can I just split this with the hubby and have their hot spinach salad for the veggie requirement? It's really very very yummy!!! Ok lang ako magsalad lang sa ibang meals. :)
