Let's begin your Weight Loss Journey with the Bon Appetit Diet!

My name is Charmaine, and I am your Online Dietitian and Community Manager. I'm here to help you be successful on your weight loss goals and get you engaged to the community as well.

This forum thread is for everyone starting the program on June. It's where you can introduce yourself, meet new friends in the diet, and to support one another in trying times.

To succeed and reach your goals, I want you to follow the steps below. It only takes 5 minutes of your day to make a lifetime improvement for your well-being.

1. Read your session for the day and watch the video of the coach

2. Ask a question to the team of dietitians (click on "Tools" in the left column, and then "Personal Questions")

3. Take the time to refer to your shopping list and meal plans.

Get involved with your Group as well. Look for I'm Starting on Monday groups.

If you have any questions about the website, don't hesitate to post them here!

I'm starting on Monday and I'll be out of town for my fieldwork, can I adjust my starting date? what can I do? :((

hi my start date will be on June 16, i hope it will work for me, i'am a working mom with 3 kids i hope i can find time to make may meal good for 1 day because my quiet far from my house.. crossed finger :^>
i have also notice that some of our food are quiet expensive but i think that there are some alternative foods instead.. i push this as i really want to get healthy again.. wish me luck friends..

@ MSDH: Yes, you can adjust the start date on your own. Or better yet, follow the meal structure of the calorie level you are in (see Tools > Bonus) so you can still have control over your diet even if you are away.

@Gemcer: It is time to bury old habits and work on your discipline to acquire new healthier habits. You cannot exercise a bad diet. Stay with the 1,400 kcal diet/day.

@nelda_g: Yes, you can opt for cheaper food equivalents e.g nonfat milk for yogurt, talbos ng kamote for broccoli.

Hi MSDH, sorry for the late reply. I read your post only now. The reason why I started early is because I was able to access my online account early as well. I did not wait for Monday because I really wanted to go on diet na. I did not religiously follow the meal plan because some of it are expensive. We can always look for alternatives naman. So far so good, I lost 2 pounds in a week. Good start na sya for me since marami rin akong lunch out last week.

Hi, i started this morning and i find the foods are okay but quite expensive because some where not be brought in a single/minimum package or quantity. :P
