Welcome ladies! And the best of luck to everyone!

@Virginia3397: All recipes on the program is good for 1 person only, so the yield after you cooked the dishes should be enough for you.

What you described above is what we call a recipe grouping. Let me give you an example: Kare-kare has 1 meat + 2 vegetables + 1 starch + 2 fat. It means that it has 1 serving of meat (120 g), 1 serving of vegetables (1/2 cup cooked), 1 serving of starch and 2 sevings of fat (2 tsps oil). This is provided for you to help you when substituting recipes or creating your own meals. You can look for recipes that contain the same food portions e.g Fish Menudo or you could prepare a totally different meal based on these portions e.g 1 pc fried fish, 1 serving sauteed vegetables and 1/2 cup of rice.

To guide you, please review the List of Food Equivalences and the Structure for Custom Meal Plans found at the Bonus page of your program.

This is my first day and so far, it's all good. I am not hungry. :-) my meal plan for dinner states that I can have corn soup (followed the recipe - not my favorite at all since I can't stand eggplant in soups! I put malunggay instead of ampalaya.). Anyway, it also says I can eat Pinoy Pork Torta. My question is, it did not indicte how many grams of Torta I can eat. Please advise??? I was hoping all that detailed information is provided. So far, looking at my week meal plan, there are some that does not indicate how much I can eat on the main dishes with recipes. and can you pease explain the equivalence of when they mention, example - 1 fat or 1 carbohydrate equivalent on a meal? Thanks!
