How different is this program from the Cohen program which requires blood testing? Same principle?

I give diet advice for the 2's diet programs, The Bon Appetit Diet by Dr. Cohen and The Chrono-Geno-Nutrition Diet by Dr. Claude Chauchard.

In my experience, how effective the diet is does not depend on the program itself, but on the experience and situation of the dieter in a specific diet program. People lose weight at different pace based on the individual's metabolic rate, physical condition, lifestyle, previous and present eating habits, stress levels, compliance with the diet, and many more factors. That is why coaching is important --- consult me, your dietitian regularly to make sure that you are on track with your weight loss goals :)

Which is more effective, this BAD program or the one which needs blood-testing? Is there a certain type of people who should follow the blood-type diet?

@almaries: Yes, you described precisely how to use the List of Food Equivalents tool :) You can also have any brand of milk as long as it is low fat. So Nestle should be okay.

How does the food equivalents tool work? Can I substitute meat (e.g.120g roasted lean pork tenderloin) with any meat (e.g. chicken or fish) under the "1 portion of meat equals" category in the list of food equivalents? Thanks.

This is calorie based, no foods are prohibited, you eat from all food groups (proteins, carbohydrates, and fat) and trains you on REALISTIC and SUSTAINABLE eating habits. :-q
