How do I "recover" from my cheats?
by charmaineanne (San Pedro), Community Manager | Posted on 11/14/2012 11:20 am | |
"I've been invited to a dinner date tonight. what shall I do?" "Oh no, I did not expect to be invited to a buffet last night. I ate a lot! How do I get back with my diet?" Sounds pretty common? Sounds like you? Fret not, as you can have the Recovery Plan the next day or before a special occasion as replacement for one of your meals! The Recovery Plan is - 2 medium boiled egg whites - a plate of raw or steamed vegetables, without fat - 1 dairy (yogurt or nonfat milk) |

Yesterday I went out with my friends and I ate a Sugar free chocolate mousse from Chocolat (a restaurant in SM MOA). This is supposed to be a Dieter's and Diabetic's delight. If I eat this how do recover from this ?

Thanks Laarni.
I'm beginning to love this diet. It doesn't feel like a diet at all :-q

All right, good point, whitechocolate! :)
Regarding that, you can just do replacements. Let us say yo ate a sundae, then you have to remove your fruit and dairy serving from your lunch meal or dinner meal.
Do substitutions sparingly and not as a cover up to cheat :-q

The cheat that was mentioned here is eating heavily like buffet. But what if the cheat involves eating something sweet like a Sundae from McDonalds or a cup of ice cream. Same replacement? The replacement should be the following day or can it be on the same day i.e I cheated during lunch break, can I recover during dinner on the same day? Thanks. B-)

Hi whitechocolate,
I suggest you take out your starch serving (rice/bread) from your next meal to recover.
