As I mentioned in my journal, stress is one of my biggest triggers for unhealthy eating. Right now I'm still making a huge conscious effort to stop reaching for food or skipping meals when something stressful happens, like a disagreement in the family, getting angry at work, or like recently, a series of sleepless worknights.
Generally, my stress management depends on what's causing it. Whenever possible I attack the problem head-on. It's those times when I can't address it directly is what makes it difficult, because anger and frustration will always seek another outlet, even if it means displacing emotions the wrong way. :^>
